**Shopify Speed Optimization Expert – Job Description**

We are looking for a Shopify Speed Optimization Expert to improve the performance, loading speed, and overall user experience of our Shopify store. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid code, JavaScript, app optimization, and Core Web Vitals.

### Responsibilities:

* Improve website loading speed across desktop and mobile
* Optimize Shopify theme code (Liquid, CSS, JavaScript)
* Reduce unused scripts and third-party app impact
* Improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
* Optimize images, fonts, and media files
* Minify and defer CSS/JavaScript where required
* Remove render-blocking resources
* Analyze performance using PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse
* Improve customer experience and conversion through faster loading
* Identify and fix speed issues caused by apps or tracking scripts
* Maintain functionality while optimizing performance

### Requirements:

* Experience with Shopify speed optimization
* Strong understanding of Shopify themes and Liquid
* Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* Experience with Core Web Vitals and Google PageSpeed
* Ability to optimize without breaking store functionality
* Experience handling tracking scripts (GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, etc.)

### Goal:

Increase website performance, improve user experience, reduce bounce rate, and achieve better speed scores on Google PageSpeed Insights.
