Shopify website and e-commerce improvements

Hello everyone
Due to a national expansion the company website and ecommerce portal (based on Shopify) needs an upgrade. Not just looking to make it look nicer, i need the customer journey fixed and the purchase page needs to have options
What I'm looking for is a great looking website and e-commerce platform that's easy for customers to get around that our team can maintain after the initial build
I have an existing website plus I hired a developer in India to do all this but it didn't work out so I'm back at square 1.. What he did was good and I can probably get hold of where he left things
If you are interested in learning more let me know. I am based in Jamaica so need someone on a similar timezone so we can have calls during business hours. The company website is for a UK based company so English is going to be the language
