Shopify search feature for my store

Good day,
I would to have a search function implemented on my Shopify theme. I want to have a search icon in the header where I indicated with the red cross and when you click on that I want a search box to come up that performs a predictive search, similar to the Dawn them. See attached example screenshot of what it looks like on Dawn theme.
My current theme has the option of a big search box in the header, but I did not like that, so I disabled it. I want a search box to pop up only when you click on the search icon.
Please confirm if my requirements are clear.
