Shopify developer - fix error displaying product grid images on mobile

I would like help with one issue on my Shopify mobile site:
On desktop I have the hover to reveal the second image feature which works great.
On mobile it is currently displaying both images, stacked on top of each other. I only want to show one image for each product, with no hover and ensure that clickthrough to the product pages are not buggy.
