Section 1: Brand Soul & Custom UI
Modernize the brand identity to create a sleek and premium design.
Replicate and optimize custom components, including:
Free Shipping Progress Bar (with truck animation)
Custom button styles
Unique trust badges
Ensure the "Empty Shell" achieves a 90+ Mobile Score on Google PageSpeed Insights.
Section 2: Legacy Data & History Migration
Migrate the entire customer database, including tags, notes, and marketing preferences.
Migrate 10 years of sales history (orders) for accurate reporting.
Install and custom-style Reputon widgets for review infrastructure.
Section 3: Strategic Architecture & Metafields
Create structural mapping for technical specifications (e.g., batteries, ink & toner).
Build a high-performance Mega Menu and Footer.
Set up automated collections based on metafields for future product categorization.
Configure infrastructure for a Wholesale/Reseller portal and a Loyalty/Rewards program.
Section 4: App Stack & Native Automations
Install, style, and configure essential apps including:
Searchanise for Instant Search UI
Set up Shopify’s native flows for Abandoned Carts, Welcome Series, and Post-Purchase follow-ups.
Strategic apps like Redirectify, EasySearch, Advanced Shipping Rules, Transcy, Google Shopping Feed Pro, and Orderly Emails.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Shopify, particularly using the Horizon theme.
Strong knowledge of CSS and Liquid for custom development.
Ability to demonstrate the use of native Shopify Metafields for technical filtering.
Experience with data migration and handling complex product specifications.
Selection Criteria:
Portfolio: Provide links to at least 2 active Shopify stores you’ve built using the Horizon theme.
Technical Test: Prepare to demonstrate your expertise with native Shopify Metafields.
Working Environment: Work must be performed on a Development Store, with a clean and documented hand-off upon project completion.
