Shopify Website Redesign and Integration

Job ID: 32811523

Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP

We are currently looking into developing are current website www.goodridge.co.uk and bringing it up to a more modern style look and feel. Built for both Desktop and Mobile due to the nature of the business and customer.

We sell into all areas in the world but mainly the UK, Europe, South Asia, and USA.

At present we are using a local agency who has in a way locked out the theme so we can’t edit or make changes without going through them, this is not only time consuming and frustrating but also a very slow process. Also, we don’t want to change any of the current code just in case of breaking the website.

We have a lot of bespoke information being recalled using google docs / google sheets back into the website. This is also an issue, so this would need to be streamlined as well, if possible, to create a better user journey. I have spent a little while trying to work out just how the make up of the site is made, and ended up being more confused as it looks like you can’t even change a sliding image or link within the theme editor.

Homepage Issues

As you can see the above image of the header nothing is highlighted to give the customer any direction or even a mega menu drop down.

Again, you can see no direction or button to indicate what the customer should be clicking.

No direction on the footer and very old school

Collection Page

I can’t find where this information is being pulled from and how it is integrated. Please note the SERACH FOR YOUR on the image below. Next page offers a drop down option so confusing to the customer and not very uniform.

As you can see it is using a drop down, also I don’t understand why this information is not running throughout the website or incorporated into the website main header. Also, it is not all the collection pages as if we create a new page this information does not appear.

Product Page

It would be nice to have it page a little bit more user friendly.

We know this is just a rough outline, we can provide you with a set of brand guidelines, also we be very interested in your design theme and template. How you would incorporate the information from various google docs and sheets to streamline not only the design but the user journey. (This information can be provided)

This is going to be ongoing development work after this phase is done. We are very open and would like to know your ideas and designs along with how we can integrate everything. A time frame and budget, if you need to buy a current theme and any additional apps that are needed is not a problem, but the theme and apps would have to be agreed in advance. This would be perfect if this could be worked on without the current local agency knowing during this development stage. We are aware that some of the websites current issues are also not up to google standards and it is impacting the growth of the business.
If you require any more information at this moment in time,

Kind regards (please start with #bugs bunny)
