Shopify Web Speed Optimization Expert – Job Description
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
We are looking for a Shopify Speed Optimization Expert to improve the loading speed, performance, user experience, and internal code structure of our Shopify store. The main focus of this role is complete website speed optimization across all pages while maintaining the existing store functionality and improving the overall UI experience.
The store currently uses Shopify AI-generated blocks and sections, so the developer must be experienced in handling heavy Shopify themes, AI-generated layouts, Liquid code optimization, and frontend performance improvements without breaking the design or functionality.
Responsibilities
Improve website loading speed on both desktop and mobile
Optimize the complete Shopify website including homepage, collection pages, product pages, cart, and all other pages
Optimize Shopify theme code (Liquid, CSS, JavaScript)
Clean and optimize internal code structure
Improve UI responsiveness and smooth user experience
Optimize Shopify AI-generated blocks and sections
Reduce unnecessary code and duplicate scripts
Minify and defer CSS/JavaScript where required
Remove render-blocking resources
Optimize images, fonts, and media files
Improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
Reduce the impact of third-party apps and tracking scripts
Identify speed issues caused by apps, custom code, or Shopify AI sections
Improve page structure and frontend performance without affecting store functionality
Analyze and improve performance using Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Lighthouse
Ensure fast loading speed across all devices and browsers
Maintain clean, scalable, and optimized code
Requirements
Strong experience with Shopify speed optimization
Deep understanding of Shopify themes and Liquid
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience optimizing Shopify AI-generated sections/blocks
Experience improving Core Web Vitals and Google PageSpeed scores
