Shopify Store Variant Image HTML Bug

Job ID: 39290162

Budget: $10 – $30 CAD

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue on my Shopify store with one product and its variants.

The problem is that even after recreating the product from scratch, some colors are displaying the same image, but with the wrong color attached to it. For instance, a pink color is appearing on three different products, despite the right color being linked to the variant on my Shopify admin. This seems to be an HTML error causing display issues, as indicated by Shopify support.

ANSWER FROM SHOPIFY HELP CENTER: To determine if the issue is related to your theme, we tested the Dawn theme, which is supported by Shopify, and the variant image color displayed correctly there. In the theme editor, we also noticed a message indicating that "Broken HTML has been detected in your theme's sections/main-product.liquid file. Please check for any missing or extra HTML tags.

Key Details:
- Issue type: HTML errors causing display issues
- First noticed: Immediately after product creation
- Custom changes: None made to Shopify theme

I need a freelancer who is well-versed in Shopify and HTML, and can quickly diagnose and fix this issue. I'd appreciate a professional who can ensure this doesn't happen again in the future.
