Shopify Sitemap & Crawling Fix

We are looking for an experienced Shopify freelancer to either create a custom sitemap or fix and optimize our existing sitemap for a Shopify store.

The goal is to ensure our sitemap is:

Fully SEO-friendly

Properly structured for search engines

Free of errors, duplicates, or unnecessary URLs

Optimized to improve indexing and crawl efficiency

Responsibilities:

Review our current Shopify sitemap (if applicable)

Identify issues affecting SEO and indexing

Create a custom sitemap or improve the existing one

Ensure compatibility with Shopify’s system and SEO best practices

Provide clear explanations of changes made

Requirements:

Proven experience working with Shopify stores

Strong understanding of technical SEO and sitemap optimization

Familiarity with Shopify limitations and workarounds for custom sitemaps

Ability to communicate clearly and explain technical decisions
