Shopify SEO Implementer
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
JOB POST: Shopify SEO IMPLEMENTER (Antique Furniture & Vintage Homeware)
Overview
We’re a UK-based Shopify store selling antique furniture and vintage homeware (one-off inventory, not mass-produced SKUs).
We already have a detailed SEO strategy and roadmap defined by a senior consultant. We are not looking for someone to reinvent the strategy.
We are looking for a hands-on SEO implementer to execute a clearly defined plan.
What This Role Is (Very Important)
This role is for someone who:
Is comfortable implementing an existing SEO roadmap
Understands Shopify limitations and works within them
Can execute clean technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and internal linking
Communicates clearly and transparently
This role is not for:
Generic “SEO agencies”
People who rely heavily on tool exports
Anyone pushing keyword density, mass blogging, or bulk backlinks
Business Context (Please Read)
Inventory is one-off and rotating (antiques)
SEO success depends on:
Collection-led pages
Era / style / material-based intent
Strong internal linking
Crawl & indexation control
We care more about correct structure and authority than short-term traffic spikes
If you’ve only worked on fashion, dropshipping, or supplements, this is not a fit.
Scope of Work (Month 1–2)
You will be responsible for implementing the following (based on an existing roadmap):
1️Crawl & Indexation Control
Shopify index bloat cleanup (filters, tags, pagination, old inventory)
Canonical and noindex implementation
Internal linking adjustments to signal priority pages
GSC validation and monitoring
2️Collection Page Optimisation
Optimise priority collections (titles, meta, H1s, structured copy)
Work within Shopify’s real constraints (no unnecessary redirects)
Improve buyer trust, clarity, and intent alignment
3️Internal Linking System
Homepage → priority collections
Product → parent collection linking
Blog → collection authority flow (where applicable)
4️Reporting & Communication
Weekly updates (what was done, what changed, what’s next)
Monthly summary tied to collections, not vanity metrics
Required Experience
Please apply only if you have:
Proven Shopify SEO experience (not just WordPress)
Experience with collection-led ecommerce SEO
Strong understanding of crawl budget, indexation, and internal linking
Ability to follow a defined roadmap without improvising strategy
Bonus (not required):
Experience with antiques, collectables, interiors, or high-consideration ecommerce
How We’ll Start
Paid 30-day trial
Clear task list provided
Decision to continue will be based on:
Quality of implementation
Communication
Adherence to roadmap
To Apply (Important)
Please include in your proposal:
Your experience with Shopify SEO
One example where you executed (not designed) an SEO strategy
How you handle Shopify indexation & crawl waste
Your availability for weekly updates
Proposals that are generic or don’t address the above will be ignored.
