Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Overview
I am building a real estate wholesaling website on Shopify. The site is already started, but I need a skilled Shopify developer to finish, organize, and correctly structure everything exactly as intended.
This is not a normal real estate site. It’s a system that:
1. Captures motivated sellers
2. Lets me qualify them by phone
3. Lets buyers apply to join my buyer list
4. Lets me privately post deals only to approved buyers
5. Stays extremely easy for me to manage from the Shopify backend

Sellers and buyers must be separated.
• Public-facing pages are seller-focused
• Buyer access is controlled by a Buyer Application + approval flow
• Private deals page is only for approved buyers
• Buyers should NOT be able to bypass me and contact sellers

1) Home Page (Public)
Goal: Build trust + push the right person to the right path.
Must clearly show 2 paths:
• “Sell Your Property” (main call-to-action)
• “Buy Off-Market Deals” (secondary call-to-action → Buyer Application)
Home page should highlight:
• Fast closing
• No agent fees
• Simple process
• Off-market / private
• I respond quickly
Buttons:
• “Get a Cash Offer” → Seller Intake Page
• “Apply as a Buyer” → Buyer Application Page

2) Seller Intake Page (Public)
Purpose: Capture motivated seller leads efficiently.
Must be form-first and conversion-focused, with trust copy:
• No agent fees
• Fast closing
• Off-market and private
• Quick response
• Simple process
Seller Flow:
1. Seller lands on intake page
2. Completes property form
3. Submission is stored and easy for me to view in Shopify
4. I call seller and qualify (price, motivation, timeline, condition)
5. If it’s a deal, I move to contract OFF the website
Backend requirement: I can view/export submissions cleanly.

3) Buyer Application Page (Public)
Purpose: Buyers must apply to access deals.
This page must:
• Explain: “We work with serious cash buyers / investors only”
• Collect buyer info + criteria
• Submit into Shopify in an organized way
• Trigger next step messaging (confirmation screen/email)
Buyer Application Fields (minimum):
• Full name
• Email + phone
• Entity type (individual/LLC/company)
• Preferred markets (city/state/zip)
• Property type (SFH, multi, etc.)
• Buy box (price range)
• Funding type (cash/hard money/other)
• Proof of funds (optional upload OR checkbox that they can provide)
• Timeline to close
• Notes/criteria
Buyer Flow:
1. Buyer applies
2. They get a message: “We’ll review and contact you shortly”
3. I review and approve them (manually)
4. Approved buyers get access to the Private Deals page

4) Private Deals Page (Gated / Hidden)
Purpose: Only approved buyers see deals.
Access options (developer should implement best clean method):
• Password-protected page
OR
• Customer account login + tag-based access (preferred if possible)
OR
• Approved email list access method
Deal Listings Management:
I must be able to add deals easily like:
• Deal title (address or area)
• Asking price
• ARV
• Estimated repairs
• Assignment fee
• Closing timeline
• Photos (optional)
• “Contact Me” instructions
Important:
• No checkout needed
• No payments
• Buyers contact me directly
• Deals should be easy for me to add/remove in Shopify (not hardcoded)

Shopify Backend Requirements (VERY IMPORTANT)
After the freelancer finishes, I should be able to run everything myself.
The freelancer must:
• Fix page/template mapping so pages don’t duplicate
• Clean navigation and routing
• Organize sections/templates so it’s obvious what edits what
• Make it easy for me to:
• Edit Seller Intake form
• Edit Buyer Application form
• Review submissions
• Approve buyers (tagging system or simple admin flow)
• Post deals to private page
• Avoid overcomplicated custom code unless necessary
If I can’t manage it confidently from Shopify after handoff, the project is not complete.
