Shopify Product Update Assistant
Budget: €2 – €6 EUR
My online store runs entirely on Shopify and I’m looking for a careful, detail-oriented assistant who can keep our existing product catalogue perfectly up to date. The role centres on editing current listings—adjusting prices, refreshing descriptions, swapping or adding images, fine-tuning variants, tags and SEO fields—so everything the customer sees is accurate and consistent with our latest inventory and marketing campaigns.
You’ll work directly inside the Shopify admin. If you prefer bulk edits, feel free to use the CSV import/export tool or connected apps; just make sure changes sync flawlessly to the live site. Familiarity with basic image editing, Google Sheets or Excel will help, but the priority is speed without sacrificing accuracy.
Typical workflow
• I provide a spreadsheet or task list identifying the products and specific changes needed.
• You confirm anything unclear, make the edits, and flag any discrepancies you notice.
• Once complete, you supply a brief summary of what was updated so I can spot-check before publishing.
Acceptance criteria
• All fields requested are updated exactly as instructed.
• No unintended alterations to product handles, collections or inventory counts.
• Edits are reflected on the storefront with no broken images or formatting issues.
Right now the scope is strictly product listing updates; customer service and order management are handled elsewhere, though familiarity with those areas could be a plus for future work. If you’ve previously managed Shopify catalogues—and can prove a sharp eye for detail—let’s get started.
