Responsibilities:
Conduct a thorough review of our current Shopify store, identifying areas for improvement in user experience, conversion rate optimization, and overall brand presentation within the beauty niche.
Collaborate closely with our team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for optimizing our Shopify store. This could involve tasks such as:
Updating product page content, descriptions, and visuals.
Optimizing product listings and categories for search engines.
Streamlining the checkout process and implementing best practices for mobile responsiveness.
Identifying and integrating relevant Shopify apps and plugins to enhance functionality.
Analyzing website traffic data and user behavior to inform optimization decisions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and the beauty industry.
Maintain clear communication with the team throughout the optimization process, providing regular progress updates and seeking feedback.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with and optimizing Shopify stores (2+ years minimum).
Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, including conversion rate optimization (CRO) and SEO principles.
Experience working in the beauty industry a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Bonus points for:
Experience with Shopify Plus or other advanced Shopify features.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of Javascript.
Proven results in optimizing beauty brand Shopify stores.
