Shopify Megamenu, Fonts & WordPress
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m working with the Soho theme on Shopify and need a developer who can push it beyond its presets.
First, I want a true megamenu built from scratch. It has to surface Product categories, Collections and a few Custom links in a clean, responsive layout that matches the theme’s styling. There isn't a preset ability to customize it. We need to be able to customize the menu items over time ourselves.
Next, the coming-soon / construction page needs its font color swapped to a specific hex value I’ll supply. The theme doesn’t expose that setting, so it will need a bit of CSS injected the right way.
Third, I have a brand font that isn’t bundled with Soho. I haven’t decided whether to bring it in through Google Fonts, a self-hosted file or Adobe Fonts, so I’m open to the simplest, most performant approach you recommend. Once imported, it should be applied to headings and body text exactly as per my style guide.
Although this job is focused on Shopify, I also run several WordPress sites and value someone with advanced WordPress skills for future tweaks and integrations, so deep WP experience is a strong plus.
Deliverables:
• Fully functional megamenu showing the three content types above
• Updated construction page with my custom color applied site-wide
• External font properly loaded, declared in theme.liquid and referenced in CSS
• Brief notes or comments so I can maintain the changes
