Shopify Manager or VA from the Philippines

The Shopify Expert will be responsible for assisting the business owner of an e-commerce website in Canada to continuously grow his website. Our Client will rely on the VA for decision making, best practices, and recommendations.

The IDEAL candidate is someone who has assisted clients from the past in building their Shopify e-commerce platform. A Developer will, later on, be hired. Our client wants to set up the step-by-step process with the Shopify Expert VA prior to commencing shop development.

Responsibilities:

1) Shopify Site Management - Manage the client’s new Shopify websites by executing a smooth onboarding process and making sure the transition to the new system is completed. Coordinate with 3rd-party logistics and adding them to the client’s systems.
2) Administrative - Work on organizing, preparing, coordinating, cleaning up data, creating SOPs, and managing various tasks and documents to support operations.
3) Communication - Respond to communications in a timely manner, escalate and alert teams via Slack/phone/text when unexpected trends or errors are detected, scheduling team meetings.
4) Advisory - As the expert, advise the client industry best practices on how to grow his business. You will help the business owner make the right decisions.

Requirements:
Must have 3 - 6 years of experience managing/handling shopify websites
Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Liquid is highly desirable but not required
Must have experience in working with any ecommerce stores
Must have experience with various online tools such as Klaviyo, Slack, Gorgias, and Shopify
Must have good english communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must be able to follow agreed timeline and meet deadlines
Must have a solid understanding of Excel (leveraging pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
Must be able to work Eastern Time (Canada)

Rate: $9 - 14/hour
Hours: 35 - 40 per week
