Shopify Google Reviews Feed Integration [Without third party aggregate app]

All my products have products rating.
I already run a healthy product feed from my Shopify store into Google Merchant Center, and now I want to add the missing piece: a dedicated Product Ratings feed so my Google Shopping listings can display star reviews. The store itself is on Shopify, but my reviews are collected and stored through a third-party service, not a Shopify app. I am intentionally avoiding any plug-in or monthly-fee solution and would like this done through a direct XML feed or Content API submission that meets Google’s Product Ratings specification.
Here’s the scope in plain terms:
• Generate or transform my existing third-party review data into Google’s approved XML format (proper schema, GTIN/SKU matching, timestamps, reviewer info, etc.).
• Upload and schedule that feed inside Merchant Center, tying it to the current products feed so ratings pull through to Shopping ads.
• Walk me through any one-time verification steps with Google, plus show me how to refresh the feed myself in the future.
Acceptance: the feed must be approved in Merchant Center and stars should start appearing on live Shopping listings once Google finishes its usual review cycle.
