Shopify Expert - Operational (uploading products, maintenance, shopping cart)
I am looking for a Shopify Expert - on an ongoing basis, as needed, with an hourly rate of compensation, to assist me with various operational tasks related to my e-commerce websites. For the right person, this gig could last years and may provide a steady basic income.
Specifically, I need help with the following:
- Uploading Products: I require assistance with uploading more than 100 products to my websites - there are currently more planned in the future. I expect products to be added regularly as our range/s expands. I need someone who is experienced with Shopify's product upload system and is intimately & expertly familiar with best practices for product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Website Maintenance: I need someone who can help me keep my website up-to-date by regularly updating product information, removing discontinued items, and ensuring that all links and pages are functioning properly.
- Shopping Cart Setup: I need assistance with setting up upsell, add-on and subscription offers/orders for some of my product range.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with Shopify's product upload system - you will need to demonstrate this.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow best practices for product descriptions, images, and pricing
- Knowledge of website maintenance, including updating product information, removing discontinued items, and ensuring that all links and pages are functioning properly
- Experience with setting up PayPal payment gateways on Shopify websites
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with me to ensure that my website is functioning properly and meeting my high standards.
- ENGLISH - your command of spoken and particularly written ENGLISH must be at an expert level.
- SALES - You will be writing copy for listings so you need to know how to write words that will attract eyes and then convert into sales.
- MARKETING - if you are also expert in Facebook, Instagram, Google ads & TikTok, that would be very well received as well - however not essential as if necessary I will hire another person to focus on that.
- MATHEMATICS - you need to be familiar with numbers and pricing - being able to take figures from spreadsheets and uploading them into Shopify as MSRP, discounts and actual costs so we can monitor margins.
- TIMEZONE - I am on Australian Eastern Standard time - GMT+10 - it would be helpful if you are close to my time zone.
- ATTITUDE - I am looking for a positive attitude and someone who gets the job done, on time & efficiently with a smile on his/her face.
- LASTLY - please don't promise what you can't deliver - I cannot afford to waste time or money with someone who does not really have, at an expert level, the skills I need.
