1. Introduction & Project Overview
Seeking proposals from qualified vendors to develop an e-commerce site on Shopify to sell branded merchandise of an automobile company. The target audience for this site consists of fans and enthusiasts of the brand, and the website should effectively showcase and sell a range of products in multiple categories.
2. Scope of Work
2.1 Product Range
The e-commerce site will feature approximately 5 to 6 categories, with 10 products in each category.
2.2 Features & Functionality
The site should include, but not be limited to, the following features:
• Standard Shopify functionality for e-commerce (shopping cart, checkout, etc.)
• Additional features:
o Live chat support
o Wishlist functionality for customers
o Customer reviews for products
• Integration for INR transactions only
2.3 Design
The vendor will create the website using template options available on Shopify. The vendor should present a few design options for approval before proceeding. The design must adhere to specific branding guidelines provided by us.
3. Payment Gateway Integration
• Preferred Payment Gateways: Razorpay or Atom
• The payment system should support transactions primarily within India.
4. Technical Requirements
• Hosting & Domain: The website will be hosted on Shopify.
• SEO & Analytics:
o Basic SEO optimization is required to ensure visibility on search engines.
o Integration of Google Analytics for tracking and reporting purposes.
5. Content Management
• Content Support: I will handle the addition of content (product descriptions, images, etc.) after the development is completed.
• Ongoing Content Management: The site should have a user-friendly CMS that allows easy updates to products and content regularly.
6. Project Timeline
The project should be completed within 1 week from the start date. The following milestones should be adhered to:
1. Design Approval: Within 2 days
2. Content and Product Setup: Within 2 days (managed by the client)
3. Integration & Payment Gateway Setup: Within 1 day
4. Testing & Quality Assurance: Within 1 day
7. Vendor Requirements
• Vendors must have prior experience in developing e-commerce sites on Shopify.
• Please include examples of previous work, particularly projects that showcase similar requirements.
• Vendors should provide references from past clients, if available.
8. Support & Maintenance
• The vendor is expected to provide ongoing support for 3 months after the site goes live. This includes bug fixing, addressing minor issues, and any required fine-tuning.
9. Proposal Submission Guidelines
Vendors interested in submitting a proposal should include the following:
1. Company Overview: Briefly introduce you or your company, including experience in e-commerce development, particularly on Shopify.
