Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to support and enhance day-to-day Shopify store operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable Shopify solutions, optimizing storefront and checkout performance, and working with themes, apps, and integrations in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Shopify store development and maintenance, including theme customization (Liquid), app integrations, security, and performance optimization
Improve storefront speed, scalability, reliability, and conversion performance
Monitor store performance using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, Search Console, heatmaps, and error logs
Define, track, and report KPIs such as page speed, uptime, conversion rate, bounce rate, cart abandonment, and checkout performance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues including theme bugs, checkout errors, and app conflicts
Collaborate with marketing, design, operations, and finance teams to support campaigns and feature rollouts
Ensure Shopify security standards, data privacy, and platform compliance
Manage Shopify apps, third-party tools, APIs, and vendors for reliable integrations
Build scalable workflows and SOPs for development, testing, deployments, and rollback
Prepare Shopify performance reports and dashboards for management updates
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app integrations
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills (theme, performance, checkout, app conflicts)
Familiarity with Shopify analytics and conversion optimization
Experience integrating payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayPal, and COD
Strong communication and coordination skills across teams
Experience with Git/version control and clean coding practices
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field (preferred)
Practical experience working on Shopify stores (live e-commerce experience preferred)
Ability to manage store improvements without disrupting live sales
Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
