Shopify Developer Required for Pet Supplements Store

We are looking for a reliable, technical, and proactive Shopify Developer & Site Manager to take full ownership of our website backend, custom theme adjustments, app stack (subscriptions, bundles, reviews), and overall site health.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Theme Development & Maintenance: Customizing Shopify Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. Designing and launching optimized landing pages.

* App Stack Management: Installing, auditing, and troubleshooting apps (particularly subscription management, product reviews, and fulfillment integrations) without bloating site speed.

* Site Speed & Technical SEO: Actively monitoring and improving Core Web Vitals, image compression, and script loading to ensure store.bernies.com remains lightning-fast.

* Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Assisting with setting up and executing A/B tests on product pages to lower cart abandonment and lift average order value (AOV).

* Operations & Workflow: Managing developer tickets and store updates in Asana, and providing quick daily communication via Google Chat.

REQUIREMENTS
Proven Shopify Technical Expertise: Expert-level understanding of Shopify's ecosystem, Liquid, and app integration architecture.

Fluent Verbal & Written English: Excellent communication skills are mandatory for daily alignment and weekly Google Video syncs.

Highly Organized: Comfortable self-managing your schedule and checking off deliverables inside Asana.

STARTUP
Trial: Position begins with a paid, task-based trial project.
