Shopify Dawn Theme Customization & APIs
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a culture-focused ecommerce store on Shopify’s Dawn theme that tells a story as shoppers scroll, yet still loads fast and feels intuitive on every device. To get there I’ll need bespoke Liquid, CSS and JavaScript work, plus carefully planned metafields so products are fully optimised for SEO and rich-results.
Core scope
• Extend Dawn with lean custom code while preserving its performance baseline.
• Set up all necessary metafields and embed JSON-LD for structured data.
• Implement a custom third-party integration and wire it to the storefront, as well as an analytics and tracking tool called “Astrology”.
• Translate my wireframe into a flexible section-based layout that I can reorder in the theme editor.
• Deliver pixel-perfect UX/UI that meets accessibility guidelines and scores well on Core Web Vitals.
Acceptance criteria
1. Theme matches the approved design in modern browsers and the Shopify mobile app.
2. Google Rich Results Test shows no warnings.
3. API endpoints feed data reliably to theme sections.
4. Lighthouse mobile performance ≥ 85.
5. Final theme installs cleanly via .zip.
