Shopify - Customization of Add to Cart feature

We need the following customization to add to the collection page of Dawn Theme
Add to cart button has been added to the page. However, it is not refreshing the cart automatically. This needs to be fixed.
In addition, the standard feature of adding to cart (similar to what happens when we do the same from product page) should be incorporated. So that the user can see how many qty of that product is already added to cart.
