Shopify - Create a custom filter for collections

Thank you for your interests in our project. We are building a Shopify store for our motorcycle parts company, and we are currently using a theme template from ArenaCommerce. For this we are seeking an experienced Shopify developer to help us with a specific customization of filters. Please find project description below.
Project description:
In our shop you can already filter by brand, model and year. If you do this you will find products for your specific motorcycle. However, you can't filter between the different categories for the specific motorcycle. We would like a filter that looks similar to the categories on the left sidebar (shown in the attachment), that filters the collections (categories) for the specific chosen motorcycle.
For example:
By filtering Yamaha YZF-R1 2016, then choosing the categories Service -> Filter -> Oljefilter
By the filtered details above you'll be able to find oil filters for this specific model and year.
