Shopify-App for Supplier Stock Update + display on frontend + notification + delivery calculation
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Shopify-App for supplier-stock-update and notification.
The purpose of this Shopify app is to update quantity from multiple suppliers and allow customers to order supplier-stock through my webshop.
Check attachment for more information and examples of this job.
Base functions:
* Update stock from suppliers. This via .csv files (They will be delivered via FTP by me)
* Display the supplier-stock-QTY on webshop for each product (both categories and product-pages) - This will help customers to estimate if they want to place an order
* Note: A product can both be on stock locally but also on stock a supplier.
E-mail and information:
It is very important that customers receive information if he/she adds a product which have added delivery-days. This needs to be clear for the customer both in the webshop but also in e-mail flow. It is to avoid customer contact in regards to their orders.
To accomidate this:
* Display added delivery-time on products in category-listings and product-pages and in cart and possibly also in checkout. (I do not have Shopify-plus)
* Customer will receive the usual order-confirmation along with added information about extra delivery-days. Clearly marked with example color.
* If a delivery-time is above x-defined days then a second e-mail will be sent after x-defined days informing the customer that the order is being processed and that he/she is not forgotten. This can also be done if we change status on the order. A suggestion on how to handle this is welcomed.
Multiple suppliers:
* Allow a product to have more than one supplier.
Example: Product A can be supplied by multiple suppliers. Supplier-A, Supplier-B and Supplier-C and all can have different delivery-times for the same SKU.
Logic: If Supplier-A does not have stock then show Supplier-B´s stock instead.
- Suppliers will simply be prioritized on a supplier-level (not on product-level).
Internal SKU and supplier SKU´s - are not the same.
Supplier(s) can/will most likely have a different SKU than my local SKU.
Example:
Supplier SKU = 123SKU where mine could be SKU123 for the same product. This needs to be taken into account.
Notes / Live shop:
* Note: This is not a drop shipping solution as almost all goods will arrive to my location in first step and from here shipped out. But I will have drop shipment in the future so this needs to be taken into account if it changes anything in the logic.
* LIVE: I have a similar module/app live in Prestashop which to some degree can be used as reference.
It will be used in the attached for examples.
Attached document.
The attached is only for 100% clarification on functions.
And also to show current backend in Prestashop – it does not have to be a 1on1 solution its only included here to display what works.
You or your team:
* Experienced in Shopify app development
* Strong understanding of inventory management and supplier relations.
* Experience in creating user-friendly interface and speed-optimized solution.
* Earlier experience with either product sync or order automation is a plus.
Let me know in your bid that you understand what this is.
Autobids and contact without have read the description will most likely be ignored.
Happy bidding!
