Shopify Alibaba Import & SEO
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want a custom Shopify app that can pull products directly from Alibaba in bulk, run each title and description through the latest ChatGPT model for keyword-rich, SEO-focused copy, and then publish the items to my store. Because I do not yet have any collections set up, the app should first create a clear collection structure by product type and automatically place every new product in the right spot.
Beyond the copy and collections, the tool also needs to handle the small but vital details that make a catalogue ready for customers: fill out tags, variants, pricing rules, and inventory settings; clean every product photo (remove watermarks, correct background, apply a uniform filter so the gallery looks consistent); and keep the whole import process repeatable with a simple dashboard inside Shopify Admin.
Acceptance criteria
• Bulk import from an Alibaba URL or CSV triggers automated processing.
• Titles and descriptions are rewritten by ChatGPT with strong, relevant keywords.
• New collections are generated and products assigned strictly by product type.
• Images are delivered watermark-free, colour-balanced, and sized for Shopify.
• All core Shopify fields—price, SKU, inventory, tags—are populated with sensible defaults I can edit later.
• One-click re-sync updates any product changes from Alibaba without overwriting my manual edits.
• Clean code, clear README, and hand-over call showing the workflow end to end.
If you have experience with the Shopify API, OpenAI integration, and image manipulation libraries, this should be a straightforward but rewarding build.
