Shopify API Integration Needed

I'm in search of an experienced API integration specialist to create a robust integration between 3rd party platforms and a Shopify store. This project aims to automate the flow of sales data, including payment details, from 3rd parties (creating sales channels) directly into Shopify, enabling us to synchronise orders and maintain up-to-date order information seamlessly. This project involves multiple third-party platform integrations into our Shopify store. Success with this initial integration could open the door to further collaborations across additional platforms. However, I am looking for a partnership that not only delivers on technical expertise but also aligns with our working style and project goals. As such, while we are eager to establish a long-term relationship with the right developer, I also value flexibility. This approach will allow us to ensure that our collaboration remains mutually beneficial and effective throughout the project's phases. I am happy to use whatever project management tool you currently use.
Responsibilities
I will need you to write the middleware code that facilitates communication between platforms, using their APIs to fetch and push data. (Integration Logic Development )
Data Mapping I will work with you to analyze and map data fields between platforms, ensuring accurate data translation and transformation where necessary.
Webhooks configuration creation and management on both platforms to trigger automated actions, ensuring real-time data synchronisation.
Error Handling and Logging for comprehensive mechanisms to catch and address any issues during data transfer.
Security Measures to manage authentication processes, safeguarding API keys and sensitive data against unauthorised access.
Testing and Deployment thorough testing, including edge case scenarios, to ensure the integration's reliability and effectiveness. Prepare and execute a deployment plan, including setting up monitoring tools for ongoing performance tracking.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in API development, with extensive experience in Shopify's API and third-party integrations.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages (likely JavaScript, JSON, Python, or Ruby).
Familiarity with Shopify’s API and third-party sales channels integration.
Experience in working with webhooks for real-time data processing.
Proficient in data mapping and transformation techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in error handling and data integrity.
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to document the integration process.
