Project Title
Ecotone Inner World: Immersive 3D Jewelry Gallery for The Fifth Form and Occult Library (Shopify Integration)

Overview:
Ecotone Jewelers is a high-concept, metaphysical jewelry brand that blends sacred geometry, symbolic storytelling, and intentional design. We are seeking a highly creative and technically capable 3D web designer or developer to build a fully immersive, interactive showroom environment to replace our current landing experience.

This will serve as the new digital entrypoint to our brand—a surreal, dreamlike environment called the “Ecotone Inner World,” where visitors explore a small spatial chamber that contains our six hero products (The Fifth Form Collection), and branch into other rooms through spatial transitions.

The experience should evoke a sense of mystery, elegance, and sacred architecture—like stepping into an initiated space. Users should feel as though they are walking through a living memory, not just browsing a website.

Objectives:
Build a richly atmospheric 3D chamber environment (The Fifth Room) with six floating or pedestal-mounted jewelry forms, each linked to a corresponding Shopify product page.

Integrate interactive spatial transitions to two additional areas:
A product showroom or gallery room for the rest of the Ecotone collection.
An occult-styled library that offers free PDF downloads (books, lore, metaphysical texts).
Seamlessly integrate with Shopify using either iframe, embedded code, or theme customizations so the rest of the storefront remains fully functional.

Environment Characteristics:
The main room (The Fifth Room) is a small architectural space with monolithic elements, ambient lighting, volumetric fog, and subtle camera drift.
Jewelry forms float or rest on pedestals. Each reacts to cursor hover or approach.
Sound and ambient layers are encouraged, as long as they can be toggled off.
One central door opens and fades to white before revealing the rest of the site or next room.

Stillness, tension, reverence, ancient, dark, grandeur, ancient alien megastructures
Minimal UI overlays
Textures should include subtle stone, metal, light bloom, and spiritual motifs

Site must be embedded into or coexist with Shopify theme structure
Optimized for fast load, progressive enhancement, and fallback on mobile devices
Navigation restored or preserved after exit from the immersive environment
Optimization
GLTF/GLB asset budget below 50MB
Baked lighting, texture compression, and level-of-detail (LOD) optimization
Static fallback version for older devices or mobile

Technical Requirements
Strong proficiency in WebGL (Three.js, Babylon.js, or similar frameworks)
Comfort integrating immersive experiences with Shopify themes (via Liquid, iframe, or JS embed)
Responsive design practices and cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
Experience optimizing 3D experiences for web (especially on e-commerce platforms)

Optional but valuable:
Blender or Maya experience for modeling or scene adjustments
Ability to add toggleable ambient soundtrack or sound design
Realistic PBR materials for jewelry reflections
Mouse- or cursor-reactive lighting

Developer Profile
The ideal developer has experience building atmospheric or immersive web experiences, preferably for high-end products, art installations, or creative studios. A strong eye for composition, lighting, and subtle user interaction is essential. Shopify integration skills are required.
Please include a portfolio of similar work. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate fluency in both technical performance optimization and creative spatial design.

The experience is clearly branded, highly memorable, and sharable
