Ongoing Shopify Listing Categorization
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need help consistently categorizing listings on my Shopify store.
- **Number of Listings**: The total number of listings will vary week to week.
- **Weekly Additions**: On average, I add hundreds of new listings to the store every week.
- **Specific Criteria**: I have a detailed and specific categorization system that I need adhered to.
Ideal skillset includes:
- **Shopify Experience**: Prior experience with managing listings on Shopify is a big plus.
- **Attention to Detail**: The categorization has to be accurate each time.
- **Consistency**: This is an ongoing project, and I need someone who can commit for the long term.
All products need to be correctly categorized.
Create appropriate main Category (Ex. Electronics,Home Furnishings,Sporting Goods,Food & Beverage..)
Create appropriate sub-categories for each main category. If necessary, create 2nd level sub categories. For example: If you have Candles and Candle Holders, it should be as follows: Home Furnishings>Candles>Candle Holders
The layout on the Home page should include the following:
a. Under Shop By Category this should be the Main Category. All products must be visible, within the main
category
b. The drop down menu must show all Main Categories with the sub categories listed below.
c. Under Featured Collections, this should include items from each Main Category. The listings should
rotate weekly. Would be interested in learning if this can be done within the theme automatically.
New Products will be uploaded to drafts, thus it's easy to find them.
Once you have them categorized, move them to Active status.
This is an ongoing project, to be paid weekly. Will edit this ad, once we negotiate the price and the number of listings completed, per week to show the total # of listings to be completed. I am looking for 10 hrs per week, max.
Will need an excel sheet weekly, of completed listings to include the following data:
a. Product SKU
b. Product Title
c. Product Tags used
d. Vendor Name ( Do not change this)
e. Product ID #
f. Category Name
