Luxury Shopify E-commerce Development

Project Overview

I am looking for an experienced Shopify website designer and developer to build a luxury, minimal e-commerce website for selling physical products in Qatar, more specifically home decor products.

The website must have a very easy backend that allows me to manage inventory, track sales, and monitor performance efficiently. The developer must have experience with local payment gateways, local courier integrations, and Arabic/English websites.

This project is intended to scale in the future to GCC markets.

Platform & Technology:
Platform: Shopify (preferred due to ease of future updates and self-management)
Mobile-responsive and SEO-friendly
Clean, fast-loading structure
Secure checkout and best practices
Backend / Admin Requirements (Critical)

The Shopify backend must allow me to easily:
Manage products and collections
Handle product variants (sizes)
Track inventory levels
Receive low-stock alerts
View and manage orders
Update order statuses
View customer profiles and order history
Track sales performance (daily / weekly / monthly)
Export reports (CSV / Excel)
Ease of use is a top priority.

Shipping & Courier Integration:
Integration with a Qatar-based local courier
Automatic shipping rate calculation at checkout
Order fulfillment and shipment tracking
Ability to expand to GCC shipping later
Prior experience with courier API integrations is required

Payments:
Integration with local payment gateways, such as:
QPay
MyFatoorah
SkipCash
(or similar local providers)
Secure online card payments
Refund and cancellation handling

Analytics & Reporting:
Google Analytics integration
Shopify analytics setup
Sales, revenue, and product performance tracking
Traffic and conversion tracking

Newsletter & Customer Communication:
Newsletter subscription functionality
Customer opt-in at checkout
Email automation:
Order confirmation
Shipping confirmation
Integration with an email marketing tool (Shopify Email / Mailchimp / Klaviyo or similar)

Website must be bilingual: English & Arabic
Developer must understand Arabic (mandatory)

Ownership, Access & Handover:
Full Shopify admin access upon completion
Ownership of all website assets
No dependency on the developer post-handover
Basic documentation or walkthrough of the backend

Timeline & Budget:
Budget: $1,000 (Negotiable)
Timeline: 4–8 weeks for development
Incremental improvements after launch
Post-launch support: 1–2 months

Required Freelancer Qualifications:
Proven experience building Shopify e-commerce websites
Experience with:

Experience with Arabic/English (RTL) Shopify stores
