Live Previews and Customization Shopify App for a Book Publisher
Budget: $750 – $1,500 NZD
Seeking a talented Shopify developer to create a fully customisable app for my online store. The app should enable live product previews and customisations for customers. Here's what I need:
- A feature for 360-degree view of the items.
- Live previews of PDF uploads.
- Cover customizations options including image uploads, text adjustments, and colour modifications.
- Additional features for adding separate cover customizations such as bindings.
Given the work's detailed nature, ideal candidates should have a strong background in Shopify app development. Additional expertise in JavaScript or related web development languages is a plus. Please note, the specific design for the app's user interface is yet to be finalised but will be provided to you.
They are a book publisher and want people to be able to make selections and customisations to their book before making their purchase. They also need to be able to see how the book will look before they add it to their cart.
The main points are as follows;
Live view, with 3 separate views, front cover, back cover and spine.
Each view would need to change together a user makes elections, eg the user selects a covering, the covering should display on all 3 views.
Product customisation from pre-set options, images, colours, fonts etc
Product customisation with text fields.
PDF upload with file sizes of up to 2GB
“3D view” Once the user had made all their selections, including uploading their PDF they would they would be able to view an interactive digital version of their book. They would be able to see the cover and also flip through all the internal pages and see the content from their PDF.
