Link squarespace website to shopify

Hi I am a small business I have set up a square space website to post blogs, articles and reviews I have written and would like to add an ecommerce element to the website. Shopify is compatible with IG and easy enough to navigate so I have started a shopify shop however I can’t get the two platforms synced and working together. Pls help me
