We are looking for an experienced developer to implement a fully headless Shopify store for Kickmove.nl, replacing Shopify Payments with Stripe while keeping Shopify as the backend for product and order management.
Key Requirements:
• Develop a Next.js frontend that fetches data from Shopify’s Storefront API.
• Integrate Stripe Checkout for payments (including iDEAL support).
• Sync Stripe transactions back to Shopify as orders.
• Optimize for performance, scalability, and mobile checkout.
Scope of Work:
1. Headless Shopify Setup:
• Enable Storefront API permissions.
• Fetch products, inventory, and cart data via API.
2. Custom Next.js Frontend:
• Build a high-performance storefront fetching data from Shopify.
• Implement dynamic product pages, shopping cart, and checkout flow.
3. Stripe Checkout Integration:
• Replace Shopify Payments with Stripe Checkout.
• Support multiple payment methods (Credit Card, iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
• Secure API endpoints for handling payments.
4. Order Syncing with Shopify:
• Send completed Stripe transactions back to Shopify as new orders.
• Ensure proper order tracking and status updates.
5. Testing & Optimization:
• Test the entire workflow with Stripe test payments.
• Optimize the UI/UX for seamless checkout conversion.
• Improve performance and mobile responsiveness.
