Overview

We operate one Canadian company (AlgizRune Art Canada) with:
Shopify store: https://www.lostravn.com
Hostinger-based shop: https://www.algizrune.com
Physical retail location: AlgizRune Art, Calgary Farmers Market South (Calgary, AB)

One online store already exists in Google Merchant Center, but it suffers from limited visibility and unresolved configuration issues. The second online store is not connected. The physical location must be properly claimed, verified, and prepared for Local Inventory Ads.

Goal:
Have all storefronts (online + offline) correctly linked to ONE Google Merchant Center, fully policy-compliant, error-free, and ready for Google Shopping + Performance Max campaigns in Canada and the USA.

Scope of Work
1. Google Merchant Center Audit & Cleanup

Audit the existing Merchant Center account

Resolve feed errors, warnings, and policy violations

Confirm correct store country, currency, and targeting

Ensure compliance with:

Product data policies

Shipping & returns policies

Tax configuration (Canada)

Link Merchant Center cleanly to Google Ads

Confirm eligibility for Shopping & Performance Max

2. Unified Merchant Center Architecture

Configure ONE Merchant Center for:

lostravn.com (Shopify)

algizrune.com (Hostinger / non-Shopify)

Physical retail location

Verify correct website ownership & domain verification

Ensure no duplicate or conflicting feeds

Clearly separate feeds by store / domain while staying under one Merchant Center

3. Shopify → Google Merchant Automated Feed

Implement native or API-based automated product feed from Shopify

Ensure:

Product status = Active

Correct titles, descriptions, images

GTIN/MPN handling (custom & artisan products)

Apparel attributes (size, gender, condition, age group)

Confirm feed updates automatically (price, stock, availability)

4. Hostinger Shop Feed Setup (algizrune.com)

Create a reliable product feed for non-Shopify site:

XML or Content API preferred

Ensure:

Zero critical errors

Correct availability, pricing, images

Policy-compliant custom products (handmade / historical crafts)

Products must appear as Active in Merchant Center

5. Google Business Profile (Google My Business)

Claim and verify AlgizRune Art – Calgary Farmers Market South

Merge or remove duplicate listings (if any)

Confirm:

Correct NAP (Name, Address, Phone)

Business category alignment

Store hours & location accuracy

Link Business Profile to Merchant Center

Prepare account structure for Local Inventory Ads

6. Shipping, Tax & Returns Alignment (Canada Focus)

Configure:

Canadian shipping rates (domestic)

Optional USA shipping validation

Return policy alignment across stores

Resolve shipping-related disapprovals

Confirm tax configuration does not block ads

7. Final Validation & Handover

Confirm:

Both online stores show Active feeds

Zero critical errors

Merchant Center correctly linked to Google Ads

Physical store verified and eligible for local ads

Deliver a short handover document explaining:

What was changed

Where feeds live

How to monitor errors

Basic maintenance checklist
