Fix my Shopify App -- Upgrade to Ruby 2.7.1, fix embedded app installation & implement GDPR webhooks
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Shopify requested for following changes to be applied to the app:
1. We were redirected to an error page when attempting to install your app. Please [test your app's installation](https://shopify.dev/concepts/app-store/getting-your-app-approved/testing-your-app-before-submitting)on a development store using OAuth. 2. Your app must use the mandatory GDPR webhooks. Shopify requires all apps to be GDPR compliant. Add [our mandatory webhooks](https://shopify.dev/apps/webhooks/mandatory) to your app from the App setup page. See [this screenshot](https://screenshot.click/13-52-j2gc7-2j22k.png) for additional details.
Access to code repo on Github will be provided once project is assigned. The app is currently not functional because of #1 issue.
At a high level, the approach can be as below:
1. Setup in your local environment https://github.com/Shopify/turbolinks-jwt-sample-app. Preferably on Ruby 2.7.1
2. Checkout my app and import all the functionality into turbolinks-jwt-sample-app. Because issue #1 is already fixed in turbolinks-jwt-sample-app
3. Once the app is functional, apply fix for #2 (unless its already applied by turbolinks-jwt-sample-app)
Once this app is fixed, there is another app with similar issues I'd like fixed. But that can be a separate project.
