Experienced Shopify Site Builder/Designer -- 2
Budget: $10 – $20 NZD
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This position will help our clients with the design and development of their Shopify website. You will customize the user interface of a store based on the corresponding brand standards and style guides of the client.
Ultimately, the key aim as a Shopify Site Builder is to create a unique and user-friendly website that is perfectly adapted to a client’s branding and specifications. He makes certain that the website for a business is functional and up-to-date.
Key Accountabilities:
1.Create a unique and user-friendly website that is adapted to a business’s branding and specifications. Will be able to build, & launch a client’s Shopify store.
2.Make sure website is functionally and up-to-date
3.Create a store template that works with a business’s plugins
4.Ensure the website is search engine friendly and optimized
5.Integrate various components of a business with their Shopify store
6.Connect the store with a business’s social media platforms
7.Make any coding changes that are necessary
8.Program the website according to each client’s business needs
9.Optimize the store for maximum performance and functionality
Experience and Education:
2 years of relevant experience
Proven efficient administrative and time management skills.
E-commerce experience is a bonus
Professional Competencies:
Ability to build, launch and maintain Shopify stores
Expert knowledge of Shopify’s admin system
Deep understanding of e-commerce design elements
Understanding Shopify’s technical capabilities and limitations
Strong SEO knowledge
Knowledge of Shopify’s theme development and liquid templating
Experience working with 3rd party Shopify apps
Testing and debugging Shopify Websites
Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills.
Be an exceptional relationship builder and a great communicator with diverse ethnicities.
Strong interpersonal skills and high EQ.
High level of competency in business communication.
Sound analytical and questioning skills.
Ability to delegate, prioritize and manage upwards.
Ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines
