Shopify Migration from Wix + Custom Theme Design for Premium Rose Nursery
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
We are migrating our existing Wix store to Shopify and want a fully custom theme that captures an elevated, editorial feel — clean, botanical, luxurious, and deeply rooted in nature.
This is not a template swap. We want a thoughtfully designed storefront that reflects our brand identity: quiet sophistication, a love of roses, and a personal, bookish warmth.
Wix plan is due on Jun 15, MUST MIGRATE TO SHOPIFY before that.
What We Need
1. Full Wix → Shopify Migration (Zero Data Loss)
Migrate all products (names, descriptions, prices, variants, inventory, images)
Migrate all customer accounts and order history (where Shopify API allows)
Migrate SEO metadata: page titles, meta descriptions, URL slugs (301 redirects from old Wix URLs to new Shopify URLs)
Migrate email subscriber list (exported from Wix, imported to Shopify Email / Klaviyo)
Migrate all existing pages: About, FAQ, Blog posts, Contact, Shipping & Returns
Set up domain transfer or DNS redirect from thebloomlibrary.ca to Shopify
Ensure no broken links post-migration; provide a redirect map

Soft, organic colour palette (creamy whites, dusty greens, blush pinks, warm earth tones — no harsh primary colours)
Serif or refined serif/sans pairing for typography — editorial, botanical, elevated
Large product imagery with generous white space — let the roses breathe
Warm, personal brand voice reflected in layout (not corporate or clinical)
Mobile-first and fully responsive
Pages to design & build:
Homepage (hero, featured collections, brand story section, Instagram feed, newsletter signup)
Collection pages (filterable by colour, type, breeder, fragrance level)
Individual product pages (variety details, growing tips, care notes, fragrance profile)
About page

Pre-order / "Notify Me" functionality (roses ship seasonally — May only)
Out-of-stock product handling with back-in-stock notification
Collection filtering and sorting
Site-wide search bar with predictive/live search (search by rose name, colour, breeder, or fragrance)
Metafields for custom rose data (breeder, fragrance strength, bloom colour, growth habit, disease resistance, USDA/Canadian hardiness zone)
Instagram feed integration
Email newsletter signup (compatible with Klaviyo or Shopify Email)
Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel installation
Fast page load (Core Web Vitals: LCP under 2.5s, CLS under 0.1)
