ChargeItX.com is an e-commerce store focusing on customizable tech accessories, specifically power banks, wireless chargers, and charging stations. We are looking to hire a freelancer or small team to help us set up our business using print-on-demand services for custom printing on tech products. Our goal is to create an online platform that offers personalized charging products (e.g., power banks, chargers, phone cases) for both individuals and corporate clients. The products will be customizable with logos, names, and designs.
We need assistance in building the e-commerce website, sourcing reliable POD suppliers (preferably in the UK for fast shipping), and ensuring seamless integration of custom print services.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Platform Setup:
Set up an online store using Shopify
Design a professional, mobile-friendly website with product pages that allow customers to choose customizations (logos, text, images) for their tech accessories.
Implement essential pages: Home, Shop, Product Pages, About, Contact, Policies (Shipping, Returns, Terms, Privacy).
Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and user experience.
Custom Printing & POD Setup:
Source reliable print-on-demand suppliers that specialize in tech accessories like power banks, charging stations, and other similar products.
Integrate custom printing services on the website, allowing customers to upload their designs or choose from existing templates.
Research and set up relationships with the best UK-based POD providers such as Printful, T-Pop, Inkthreadable, and AOP+.
Set up the ability to offer custom printing on tech products, including power banks, wireless chargers, and phone cases.
Supplier Integration & Order Fulfillment:
Integrate print-on-demand services and dropshipping suppliers into the Shopify store.
Set up automated order fulfillment and ensure the product is sent directly to the customer with minimal intervention.
Ensure that fast shipping times are in place, with a preference for UK-based fulfillment to minimize shipping times for UK customers.
Product Customization & User Experience:
Create product pages that allow customers to easily personalize their tech accessories with their logos or designs.
Develop a smooth, easy-to-use design tool or integration (like TeeLaunch, Printful’s mockup generator, etc.) for product customization.
Add options for customers to select product color, size, design, etc.
Marketing Setup:
Implement SEO strategies for all product pages, including optimized meta descriptions, titles, and alt-text for images.
Set up basic email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Omnisend) for promotions, product updates, and abandoned cart recovery.
Develop a content marketing strategy to boost organic traffic (e.g., blog posts on tech accessories, customization trends).
Prepare for paid ad campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) targeting tech enthusiasts, businesses, and corporate clients.
Quality Control & Testing:
Ensure that all custom designs print correctly and are of high quality on tech products.
Perform test orders to ensure the entire order process works seamlessly from product selection, customization, payment, and shipping.
Test the customer journey to ensure a smooth, frictionless experience.
Skills Required:
Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.).
Familiarity with print-on-demand services (especially for tech products like power banks, chargers, phone cases).
Knowledge of custom printing techniques (e.g., sublimation, UV printing) for tech products.
