Bulk Shopify Product Upload

I’m preparing a new Shopify store that will feature between 1,000 and 5,000 mechanical parts. Each item must go live with an accurate SKU, title, description, pricing, and the usual inventory fields.

Right now the product data sits in other database files, not nice-and-tidy CSV or Excel sheets. My client may still supply a CSV export, but I need someone who can move forward even if that never appears—so comfort parsing raw database dumps or alternative formats is essential.

Here is what I need from you:
• Import every product into Shopify, mapped to the correct collections, variants, images, and metadata.
• Preserve all SKUs and any relational data exactly as provided.
• Verify that bulk edits (prices, stock levels, tags, metafields) are reflected correctly once live.
• Keep a clear changelog so I can show progress to my client at any moment.


A few extra notes
– The project is not rushed; there’s no strict deadline, so quality trumps speed.
– I’m French-Canadian. If you’re comfortable in French we can communicate that way, otherwise English is fine.
– When you apply, please highlight similar bulk-import projects you’ve handled in Shopify so I know you’ve done this before.

I’ll grant collaborator access to the store, share the database files, and set milestones as we progress. Looking forward to working with someone who can make this migration smooth and error-free.
