Build a custom Shopify Site for Subscription Based Company
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Custom Shopify site to be built. We plan to provide a template we'd like to use for look/feel. Below are the requirements for the site.
After a customer has purchased a Membership/Subscription they will be issued credits for 8 standard cards on their account. System will be responsible for managing the number of credits available. If a customer selects a card it will deduct from the number of credits available to the user. Storefront will allow user to select by Category & Sub-Category (i.e. Birthday | Him/Her/Kid/Grandparent, etc.). Each card is clickable to see more details and allow user to add to the cart.
Certain categories will have certain required fields on checkout to customize as outlined below:
Example:
Anniversary : Date (MM/DD), Shipping Address, Sentiment
Birthday : Date (MM/DD), Shipping Address, Sentiment
Sympathy : Shipping Address, Sentiment
There is also some additional metadata such as Standard or Premium. Premium cards will deduct (1) credit but also require a $2 charge. Standard cards will simply deduct (1) credit.
A customer can purchase additional credits for an additional fee.
User flow:
Customer has purchased a subscription for $60. They are given 8 credits on their account. They can select all 8 if they want immediately or use as they wish.
In this particular use case, a customer is using their credit for a single premium birthday card at the moment. They are able to find the card they want to purchase. They add it to their cart and select checkout. On checkout, the shopping cart has $2 showing, they cannot complete the purchase until they have completed the required fields (Date, Shipping Address and Sentiment). Once those fields are completed, they can click submit. Everything is processed and email is sent to sales email address notifying them of the sale, date/shipping/sentiment. Customer’s # of credits now goes from 8 to 7. On backend, it deducts -1 from inventory amount for that particular card.
Note: A customer has 1 year from date of subscription purchase to use all 8 credits. If customer has any unused after 365 days, the number of credits is set to 0 unless they renew which would bring them back to 8 after renewal. (Use it or lose it)
