Build Modern Portfolio Site on Shopify -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to present my work online through a clean, eye-catching portfolio and I’d like it built on Shopify. Even though the primary goal is to showcase projects rather than run a full e-commerce store, using Shopify now will let me add products or paid downloads later without rebuilding anything.
Here’s what I need:
• A modern, responsive layout that highlights imagery and video, keeps typography elegant, and loads quickly on mobile and desktop.
• Thoughtful page structure: landing page, project/gallery pages, about/bio, and a simple contact form.
• Customisation through Shopify’s theme code (Liquid, HTML, SCSS, JavaScript) so colours, sections and content blocks are easy for me to update.
• Basic SEO setup, alt tags and meta data so the portfolio is search-friendly from day one.
• Handoff that includes a short Loom walkthrough or PDF guide so I can update content confidently.
Acceptance criteria:
– Site passes Google Mobile-Friendly Test.
– All images lazy-load and score green on PageSpeed for both mobile and desktop.
– No console errors in the latest Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
– All copy, colours and assets pulled from my brand kit (I’ll share after kickoff).
If that aligns with your skill set, let’s talk time-frame and milestones—I’m looking to move quickly once we agree on the approach.
