Project Overview
I'm looking for an experienced Shopify SEO specialist to improve the search visibility of my ecommerce website over an initial one-month trial.
My business is Dearest You, an Australian subscription brand that delivers monthly mindfulness and emotional wellbeing mail for tween girls. Parents purchase the subscription, and each month their child receives beautifully designed letters and activities that build confidence, emotional intelligence and resilience. The website is live but organic traffic is low.
I want an SEO expert who can identify why this is happening and implement best-practice SEO to improve my site's visibility.
Objectives
During the first month I would like you to:
Complete a full Shopify SEO audit.
Identify technical SEO issues affecting rankings.
Ensure Google is correctly indexing all important pages.
Optimise page titles and meta descriptions.
Improve heading structure.
Optimise product pages, collection pages and key landing pages.
Perform keyword research relevant to my niche.
Recommend the best keywords for parents searching for children's mindfulness products, subscription boxes and mail clubs.
Improve internal linking throughout the website.
Optimise image alt text.
Review page speed and Core Web Vitals and implement improvements where possible.
Add or improve structured data (schema markup) where appropriate.
Review Google Search Console and identify any indexing or crawl issues.
Review Google Analytics (or GA4) and recommend improvements to tracking if required.
Deliverables
At the end of the month you will provide:
A completed SEO audit.
All agreed technical fixes implemented.
Optimised metadata across key pages.
Keyword research document.
List of pages optimised.
Report outlining work completed.
Recommendations for ongoing SEO improvements.
Baseline ranking report for target keywords.
