We are seeking a skilled and experienced API Developer to create a custom Shopify app that integrates Instagram Reels feeds with a Shopify store. The primary function of the app is to display Instagram Reels as a slider on a Shopify page. This will enhance our store's visual appeal by showcasing dynamic content from our Instagram account directly on our website.
Responsibilities:
Develop a custom Shopify app that integrates Instagram Reels feeds into a Shopify store.
Create a frontend display, similar to the image slider found here: Slider Example.
Implement a backend view within Shopify that allows us to input an Instagram username and fetch the corresponding Reels feed for display on the Shopify page.
Ensure the app is scalable, secure, and easy to use.
Requirements:
Proven experience with API development, specifically with Instagram's API.
Strong experience in developing Shopify apps, with knowledge of Shopify’s API and app ecosystem.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to replicate the desired slider functionality.
Familiarity with back-end technologies required for secure and efficient data handling within Shopify.
Ability to work independently and deliver a high-quality product within a set timeline.
