I am seeking a skilled developer to create a Shopify storefront specifically designed for selling clothing and accessories to customers in the United States. The primary focus is to ensure a smooth buying journey from the first click to checkout, with every design and configuration choice aimed at maximizing conversion and facilitating easy fulfillment in compliance with U.S. tax and shipping requirements.
Key Features Required:
User Reviews and Ratings: A fully functional customer review section (using Shopify Product Reviews or a comparable app) on product pages.
Product Videos: A dedicated slot for short product videos that stream reliably on both mobile and desktop devices.
Wishlist Functionality: Users should be able to save items for future consideration.
Live Chat Support: Real-time assistance to enhance the customer experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in developing eCommerce websites, particularly in the fashion sector.
Strong understanding of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design principles.
Proficiency in integrating customer review systems, wishlist capabilities, and live chat support.
Familiarity with U.S. tax and shipping regulations, including setup for payment gateways, sales tax, and domestic shipping rates.
Basic SEO setup (titles, meta descriptions, alt text) to enhance site visibility.
Ability to deliver a mobile-responsive design.
Deliverables:
A complete Shopify theme that is configured and branded.
A product template featuring integrated reviews and a video section.
Tested navigation, cart, and checkout flow from start to finish.
U.S. tax and shipping rules properly set up.
One round of post-launch tweaks (bug fixes or minor edits).
I will provide product photos, copy, and video clips; your responsibility will include theme selection or customization, page layout, and all back-end settings. The finished store should be ready for me to add inventory and start selling immediately.
