Shopify Expert: Install Timesact Pre-order App & Remove Legacy Custom Code
Project Description:
I am looking for a Shopify Developer to help me transition from a manual "backorder" coding solution to the Timesact (Pre-order) app.
Current Setup:
Platform: Shopify.
The Issue: I currently have a custom-coded solution (without an app) that displays "Beställningsvara" (Backorder) when a product is out of stock. This legacy code needs to be completely identified and removed to avoid conflicts with the new app.
Tasks:
Code Cleanup: Audit the theme files (Product page, Cart, and Collection page) to remove the existing custom logic for out-of-stock labels.
App Installation: Install and configure the Timesact app.
Automation Setup: Set up the app to automatically trigger when inventory reaches 0.
Messaging & UI: * The "Add to Cart" button should change to "Beställningsvara" (or keep "Add to cart" but with a clear sub-text).
A clear shipping message must appear: "Beställningsvara – ca 6 veckors leveranstid".
The message should also be visible in the Cart and on the Order Confirmation (if supported by the app/theme).
Bulk Settings: Ensure all relevant products have the Shopify setting "Continue selling when out of stock" enabled so the app can function.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Shopify Liquid and theme development.
Experience with Pre-order apps (specifically Timesact is a plus).
Ability to ensure the design matches my current theme perfectly.
