Shopify expert needed! - Add and improve features & fix bugs in our online shop
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
Hello! We are Bevy Express, and we are an Italian startup on the Beverage Delivery market.
Website (built with shopify): https://www.bevy-express.com/
We started our business this year, in March. As for now, we had a web developer Agency build our eCommerce website, using Shopify. But our contract with them ended, and now we have some bugs that need to be fixed and some features that we would like to add to our website or improve in our website.
There are essentially 5 tasks that we need from a Shopify expert (in order of priority):
1) Fix Bug in zip-code pop-up: Every time a user enters the website, we have a little pop-up window that asks for the Zip-code, so we can tell the user if we deliver to their area not. The problem is: zip-codes, in Italy, is made of 5 numbers only, but right now any form of text is being accepted, and the user gets the message “we don’t deliver to your area”.
What we want, is that when the user writes something in the zip code field that is not 5 numbers, like “12as$#”, the user can’t proceed. Instead, the field gets outlined in red and a little message under saying like “wrong zip-code format”. (Check Attachment: 1)
2) Fix Bug registration form: For our users to register, we have a registration form with the fields: name, last name, email, and password. Right now, if the user fills in one of the fields wrongly, instead of outlining the fields that are wrong in red, and showing the user which field they should correct, the customer is just sent to another page, or all the fields get empty again, without telling the user what was wrong to begin with. (Check Attachment: 2)
3) Add Feature “about us” page: We have prepared the design of our “About Us” page, which should be added to our footer. So, basically, for this task, we need a new page to be created on our website, and built like our design (and the link to the “About us” must be on the footer), and the page has to be responsive to mobile. (Check Attachment: 3)
4) Improve Feature registration form: In our registration form, as pointed out in task number 2, we have the fields for: name, last name, email, and password. However, we would like to have an extra step of the registration asking the user for additional information such as: telephone, zip code, city, address, apt. floor, if there is an elevator or not, and a message saying “by registering, I confirm that I am above 18 years old”. (We are still creating the mockup for the form).
5) Improve Feature mobile experience: right now, our website is structured in a way that, when the products are seen from a mobile device, it doesn’t look the best, so we think if it was structured in a different way, it would look better. (Check Attachment: 4). Also, if you have an idea on how to improve our user experience for mobile, feel free to share it with us!
