Shopify E-commerce Integration Specialist (App Developer)
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are looking for someone who can connect our app to Shopify. Someone who not only knows the difference between Shopify App Types, but also can be trusted to recommend a development path. This could be a full-time position for the right candidate.
Roles:
1. Integrate Shopify API solutions to current app
2. Work closely with the dev and product team to deliver complex solutions
3. Conduct / initiate brownbag sessions for the dev team in terms of Shopify API usage
4. Create high-level / technical diagrams and other relevant documentation for API integrations
5. Work on other API tasks as assigned
Requirements:
1. Must be experienced with Shopify eco-system and integrations
2. Must be well-versed in API technologies such as ExpressJS and
MongoDB. GraphQL is a big plus
3. Must be able to translate business requirements to working code
4. Familiarity with JIRA / Confluence & Gitlab
5. Must be able to write clean, working code in collaboration with other team members
6. Must have good communication skills

Experience:
1. At least 2-3 years experience in Shopify API integration
2. Must have worked on at least one (1) app that used Shopify integration – can be a public or a private app
3. At least 3 years experience in ExpressJS and MongoDB
4. Experience with React is a plus
5. Experience in other e-commerce platform integrations is a huge plus (may affect employment type)
