Shopify Store Customization and UX Optimization

Project Summary:

We are looking for a certified Shopify Expert with proven experience in custom theme development to implement several design and functionality changes to our store, which is built on the Symmetry theme. The primary goal is to optimize the user experience and visual layout to match our brand's aesthetic. All custom code must be well-documented and implemented in a way that is compatible with future theme updates and Shopify software changes.

General Requirements:

Shopify Expertise: The freelancer must be a certified Shopify Expert with a strong understanding of Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS.

Code Integrity: All custom code must be implemented in a way that does not conflict with core theme files, ensuring stability and preventing issues with future theme updates or Shopify platform changes.

Detailed Requirements:

A. Main Menu / Header

> Menu Height: Reduce the overall height of the main menu bar at the top of the page to match the proportions of the provided reference site.



B. Collection Page

> Image Spacing: Reduce the spacing between product images.
> Full-Width Display: Ensure product images extend full-width from side to side on the page, with no left or right-side framing or margins.

C. Product Page

> Image Positioning: Shift the main product images up towards the top-left corner of the page.
> Breadcrumbs: Implement a breadcrumb navigation trail directly above the main product image.

> Description Section:
- Remove the word "Description" as a heading.
- Convert the description section from a collapsible dropdown to a fixed, visible block of text.
- Remove any lines or dividers around this text block.
- Limit the visible text to a maximum of three rows, without scroll.
- Variant Options (Color & Size):
- Reduce the size of the "Color" and "Size" selectors to fit on a single row without wrapping to the next line.

> Metafields Integration:

Color as Sibling Product: Connect the color variant selector to metafields to enable a "sibling product" feature. When a customer selects a different color, the page should automatically switch to the corresponding product page for that specific color.

> Content Display: Display the content from the following metafields as a fixed menu or tabs below the description. The content should be clearly visible without a dropdown:
- "Design Story"
- "Care Instructions"
- "Made to Order"

> Pair with" Section change image size
- Optimize the "Pair with" section (related products) to be more compact so that the entire section is visible on a standard desktop screen without the need to scroll.
