I need a modern Shopify storefront that lets customers reserve my medical equipment for short term rentals. The site must feel clean and be very simple to use.
Core flow
– Visitors browse the equipment catalogue, open a product page, and immediately see a calendar that shows real-time availability.
– They pick a date range or specific time slot, proceed through Shopify checkout, pay through a secure gateway (Shopify Payments or Stripe preferred), and receive an automated confirmation email.
– Inventory locks the device for that slot to prevent double-booking.

• Configure or customise a suitable Shopify theme, keeping the aesthetic modern: ample whitespace, clear typography, and easy navigation.
• Set up a booking and reservation system that supports both calendar view and precise time-slot selection. You can integrate a proven app or deliver custom Liquid/Shopify API code—whichever achieves smooth UX and accurate inventory control.
• Enable and test the payment gateway end-to-end, including refunds or balance-due scenarios.
• Optimise speed, ensure accessibility, and verify that everything works flawlessly on desktop, tablet, and phone.
• Provide a concise hand-off guide so I can add products, adjust availability, and manage bookings without touching code.
