Rate: €20–€50/hour (based on experience)

Duration: 1–3 months (with potential for ongoing work)About the ProjectWe are a growing EU-based e-commerce brand looking for a self-employed Shopify Lead Developer to build and optimize our dropshipping store. You will be the technical lead for Shopify setup, app integrations, and automation — ensuring fast, scalable, and conversion-focused performance.Your Role & ResponsibilitiesFull Shopify store setup (from scratch or migration)
Integrate top dropshipping tools:DSers / Spocket / CJdropshipping / Zendrop
Auto-fulfillment & order syncing
Real-time inventory & pricing updates

Custom app integrations (via Shopify API, webhooks, or private apps)
Theme customization (Liquid, JSON templates, responsive design)
Performance optimization (speed score >90, Core Web Vitals)
Set up automated workflows (abandoned cart, upsells, email/SMS via Klaviyo or Omnisend)
Lead technical decisions (app selection, architecture, scalability)
Documentation & handover (for future devs)

Required Skills (Must-Have)5+ years Shopify development
Expert in Shopify Liquid, APIs, Webhooks, Apps
Proven experience with dropshipping automation (DSers, Spocket, etc.)
Strong in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSON
Experience leading Shopify projects (portfolio required)
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Available for EU-friendly hours (min. 4h overlap with CET)

Headless Shopify (Hydrogen / Remix)
SEO & conversion rate optimization
Experience with Print-on-Demand (Printful, Printify)
