Shopify Developer for Coffee Product Customization
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to customize our product card layout and collection filters for Jones Ranch Coffee Company, a premium single-origin coffee brand using Shopify Online Store 2.0. Our store uses custom metafields for key product attributes including roast level, country of origin, and bean variety.
Here’s what we need:
Each product card should display (1) a country flag emoji (based on a 2-letter country code from the metafield custom.flag1), (2) a visual roast level indicator using 1–5 filled coffee bean icons (from custom.roast_level, an integer), and (3) the country name (from custom.country1). Below this, we want to show a short text label like “Medium Roast” (from custom.roast_category, which will be one of: Light, Medium, or Dark).
We also want to implement native Shopify 2.0 filters on the collection pages based on metafields. Specifically:
Roast Category (Light, Medium, Dark) — from custom.roast_category
Country of Origin — from custom.country1
Bean Variety — from custom.bean_variety1 (e.g., Pacamara, Bourbon, etc.)
These filters should be implemented using Shopify’s native filtering system (not apps), support multiple selections, and blend seamlessly with our existing theme design and styling. We want the entire solution to be responsive and maintainable. Code must be integrated cleanly (e.g., in card-product.liquid) without affecting other templates or breaking our design system.
Bonus if you can also include clean icons (e.g., filled bean SVGs or emojis) that scale visually to represent the roast level inline with our design language.
Please include examples of previous Shopify metafield-driven product card work and experience building custom filters. We’re ready to begin immediately and are looking for someone efficient, experienced, and easy to work with.
